Privacy
Effective 12 October 2026. Your test answers never leave the page you are looking at: they are not stored, not sent to us and not sent to any analytics tool. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs only if you accept it; elsewhere it starts when the page loads. Cloudflare's analytics counts visits without cookies. The site shows Google AdSense ads; see Advertising below.
MyRicePurity (myricepurity.com) offers free tests with no account. This page explains what is stored, what is sent and the choices you have. Questions: hello@myricepurity.com.
Your answers
- Ticks exist only in the open page. They are not written to cookies, local storage or anywhere else.
- Your score is worked out in your browser. Nothing about your answers is sent to a server.
- Close or reload the page and the answers are gone. The Clear button wipes them at once.
Sharing
The share card and the share link carry your score and its range name, nothing else. The score in a share link sits after a "#", a part of a web address that browsers do not send to the server, and our analytics strip it too.
Google Analytics
Visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first: nothing loads until they click Accept on the cookie banner. For visitors elsewhere, Google Analytics starts when the page loads. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used, so we know what to improve. It sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga. Google receives information such as the page address (without anything after ? or #), the referring page, your browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
We send two events: that a test was completed (which test, never the score) and that the share button was pressed. No answer and no score is ever sent. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising; Google signals and ad personalization are switched off.
If you see the banner and click Reject, or do not answer, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Google Analytics. Wherever you are, you can turn Google Analytics off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; rejecting also deletes the _ga cookies.
Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures loading speed without cookies, without local storage and without fingerprinting, so it does not need your consent. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
What your browser keeps
- Your cookie choice (Accept or Reject), so the banner does not ask again.
- Your light or dark mode choice, if you switch it.
- Advertising cookies from Google and its partners, used to show ads (see Advertising below).
- A cached copy of the pages, so the test works offline. Clearing your browser data removes it.
None of these contain answers or scores.
Fonts and other services
The site uses your device's own fonts. Apart from Google AdSense, which serves the ads, and Google Analytics (see above), it loads no other third-party services.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they are not personalized.
The ads never use your answers or your score: those stay on your device.
Your rights
We run no accounts and never receive your answers, so there is no profile to access or delete on our side, and we cannot see or delete your answers. Analytics data, if Google Analytics ran, is held by Google under its policies and is not linked to your name. For any request, email hello@myricepurity.com.
